As your councilman for District 5, I will be the neighbor who you can call, text or visit and who will listen to your concerns. Together we will make Valparaiso a clean city where every resident’s voice and interest is recognized.

Who am I? I am a pilot.

I landed in the USA in the spring of 1988 with the intention to live my dream of becoming an airline pilot. That dream became a reality when I was hired by United Airlines more than 22 years ago.

Who am I? I am a proud Valparaiso resident.

I moved to the Valparaiso area in 2000, when my daughter Daniele was four and my son Alexander was two.

Who am I? I am a Union Member.

Unions build up our communities by providing stable jobs and involved residents.

Who am I? I am making Valparaiso a better place.

I had the immense honor of becoming a US citizen in 2017. I immediately considered that, with that privilege, came the clear duty to contribute to the life of my adoptive country.

As your councilman for District 5, I will be the neighbor who you can call, text or visit and who will listen to your concerns. Together we will make Valparaiso a clean city where every resident’s voice and interest is recognized.

The America that I admired from the other side of the ocean, while growing up in France, was, I believe, an America turned toward the future. I witnessed Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon, not because it was an easy thing to do but because there was a strong will to make it happen.

We are today at an important juncture where great decisions need to be made to effect great achievements.

Fear and the desire to freeze in the past are very normal, understandable human emotions but, we have the duty to move forward while displaying the spirit of innovation that characterizes our wonderful country.
To be an American is to be able to dream a better future. In Valparaiso, without increasing the resident’s financial burden, we can use new technologies that pay for themselves, to create a city that will become a beacon of sustainability and healthy living, for Indiana and beyond.
This will, in turn, create technical jobs and businesses and attract commerce and tourism.
